Hi there.
Vistaprint's system works quite well, or alternatively try goodprint. I have used both in the past and have had no problems. They are primarily 'for business' but they offer pretty much the same as other online printers but they tend to be loads cheaper as they don't specifically target non-business users.
My only piece of advice would be to make sure that any graphics you upload (and this applies to whoever you use) is in the right file dimensions - unless it is exactly what they want then the image will be resized to fit and whilst this won't necessarily appear 'odd' on-screen, it will when it arrives.
Because they are wedding invitations, you may want to order as few as possible at first and then 'top-up' your order when you are happy they are exactly what you want. It may cost you more overall, but it could end up costing you less in the long run if you overlooked a small spelling mistake/other error up front (there speaks a man of experience!).
Whoever you use, most online companies tend to offer a special offer - vistaprint in particular always has one on, so make sure you search for ' special offers' on google/yahoo before ordering.
Finally, with regards the wording for the cards, you may want to check out somewhere like Weddingsday - they have lots of ideas and could help point you in the right direction if you're struggling - there's also lots of other wedding info/free planning tools on there if you need it.
Hope this helps.

do you have microsft office publisher?
if so use that to design and then print your own.
if not then why not rip off a design site by copying the image of the cards from the website and editing them in your computers photo manipulation program whatever that may be.
there are many software programs where you can design your own documents etc. some free, some trialware, some shareware some only available to buy without trial. try www.softpedia.com for you to find freeware grphic design programs. use photo's or clipart to design the cards and then print them out.
i still think microsoft publisher would be the easiest program to use to design your cards and merge with a mailingf list that you create.
good luck. i know that this is not a website to create the cards but why use a website when a software program can do a much better job.
failing that go to www.microsoft.com and see if you can get a trial copy of publisher and use it for this project. or my be ask your boss if you can use your works computer and printers to design and print the cards, may be use your own printer on your companies computer should you want to or be able to if you have publisher at work.
of course your boss is not going to be happy if you do it without ther knowledge or when you are supposed to be working. but on your work break or at lunch would i'm sure be acceptable.
and you can say to your boss in lew of a wedding present use of the computer to do the cards would suffice, he may agree aas it would be cheaper for your boss and as most bosses are tight fisted this would benefit you and your boss.
but like i said only if publisher or another graphic design program is available at your workplace.
or maybe a friend has graphic design software you can use.
a basic card from scratch in publisher will take about five to 30 minutes to design depending on if you know what you want. plus however long it takes to input the mailing list details., and then however long your printer will take to print out the cards.
Obviously you will need to go to your local stationers to buy the blank templates or blank card to print on and the envelopes.
al in all for a couple of hundred cards i'd say you could have the job done and ready to post in a day or a weekend depending on the speed of your typing, the speed of your computer and printer speed.

I used word processor.
I chose pale yellow card and olive green wording.
I am very pleased with the result it looks professional. I used the puncher to make two holes and threaded pale yellow ribbon through ,and tied a small bow. I went to the craft shop and bought some card making stickers and placed a small silver bell on the Invites. My friend who is also getting married paid to have hers designed £150 Mine cost me £18 and llook great!! Dont use black print though it doesnt look elegant.. good luck......uk

The best way is to not use a program at all. Do research as to what you want it to say, and use a Word program and save money.
I wish I had a copy of what ours looked like. We made our own for 1/2 the cost of using a program or buying them premade.

just type it up yourself, everyone knows what should be on an invitation, then print it out on card. if like my printer it wont accept thick card then get matching thick and thin card and glue the printed thin one inside the thick one. then stick a flower or bow out of the craft shop on the outside. hey presto - an invitation!

howdy. Vistaprint's equipment works extremely nicely, or nonetheless try goodprint. I even have used the two interior the previous and characteristic had no issues. they're oftentimes 'for employer' yet they provide quite lots comparable to different on line printers yet they have a tendency to be plenty extra low-value as they don't specifically aim non-employer customers. My basically piece of advice could be to verify that any portraits you upload (and that's ideal to whoever you employ) is interior the nicely suited report dimensions - except it somewhat is precisely what they want then the image would be resized to extra wholesome and whilst this won't inevitably seem 'unusual' on-reveal, it somewhat is going to while it arrives. as a results of fact they're wedding ceremony invites, it somewhat is precious to to reserve as few as attainable in the previous each and every thing and then 'ideal-up' your order once you're happy they're precisely what you want. it might value you extra usual, even inspite of the shown fact that it might desire to finally end up costing you much less interior the long-term in case you missed a small spelling mistake/different errors up front (there speaks a guy of journey!). Whoever you employ, maximum on line companies tend to grant a undeniable supply - vistaprint in specific continuously has one on, so be sure you seek for ' specific can provide' on google/yahoo in the previous ordering. finally, with regards the wording for the enjoying cards, it somewhat is precious to to make certain out someplace like Weddingsday - they have lots of recommendations and would desire to help factor you interior the nicely suited direction in case you're suffering - there is likewise lots of different wedding ceremony records/unfastened making plans tactics on there in case you want it. desire this permits.
