The risk is that she is only seven and while no part of her is mature in any way shape or form, but also that you breath dye particulates while your hair is bieng dyed that and hair dye kind of goes near this really important thing called her head which contains her young developing brain which probably isn't the best place for chemicals to be seeping into.
Not only that at seven she doesn't understand what she sees on tv is just a trend, and that in a month it will be a different color of hair that everyone will want which makes it a bad idea to encourage this unless you would like to have to change your seven year olds "look" every second month complete with new wardrobe.

I don't think it would be okay, even though I dyed my hair when i was 8 or 9... but I only did some of my hair.. and the dye i used wasn't the real chemically dye. and especially since she wants to be a complete brunette from a blonde, i don't think she's old enough.

NO! Don't let her. I friend of mine dyed her hair at 8, she is now 15, and already has some gray! Besides, many people who are blond as children's hair turns to the brunette color as they get older. It's very possible that it will happen on it's own, without the risk of dyeing it.

Kids' hair is pretty strong, however I would very badly advice you to talk your daughter out of it. Sounds like she only wants her hair dyed cause it´s cool to be brunette at the moment or what do I know. Her hair will maybe stand it, but your daughter is definitely not mature enough to do so.
Talk to her! Seriously. There is something wrong if a seven-yo thinks about dying her hair. Is she trying to live up to fashion standards at that age already? Tell her she is pretty, tell her she´s adorable, and let her know to you she is perfect the way she is.
Risk? Your daughter constantly feeling bad about the way she looks, trying out diets, hair colours etc. from a very young age if already at SEVEN! she feels uncomfortable with the way she looks. Your girl should worry about her barbie's new dress or Britney's new record, but NOT about her looks.
Sorry for the harsh words. ;)

Personally, I think your daughter is too young to have chemicals like that, put in her hair. You can call a hair salon and ask them how often they dye childrens hair that are that young and have them recommend to you what they think you should do.

Well, her hair is probably strong enough to deal with it. But the problem is if she wants to dye it again later. That could cause premature graying. I would suggest getting her wash out dye, and letting her try it out.

No, I believe those chemicals might be too strong. Even adults risk having an allergic reaction due to the strength of the chemicals.
