I am planning a new look for the new year and I wanted to perm my hair then get it cut into a pixie style. My question is should I perm it first wait three days then dye it?

If you perm your hair, it is recommended that you wait for 6 months before you dye it or vice versa. Doing both things too close together will damage your hair by severly drying it out.

You can do it one way or the other. You can perm 1st wait 2 weeks before dying or dye 1st and wait 2 weeks before perming. Whatever you do, don't do them back to back because if your hair is either not use to that or it's thin, you will be bald and need a wig.

Most salons dye two weeks in advance and then perm hair. So that would probably be my suggestion.

perm first, wait at least two weeks then dye it. Or get your answers from your hairdresser if you have one. If not, then best to wait two-three weeks for whichever one you do first.

ur supposed to perm ur hair first, but afterwards u must wait a couple of weeks before dying your hair so it won't fall out...i'm not sure how long the wait is though. hope this helps!

If you don't want to completly ruin your hair, perm your hair and wait at least 30 days to color it. If you do both your bound to loose it or turn it to brillo pads.
