Are these battery/electricity powered thingys any good or just a con? How long would I have to use them for (and how often) to get a result?

They are supposed to work, I have never tried them personally;

Just another con. There is no such thing as getting toned abs without putting doing the exercises to make it happen.

Stick with a low fat diet, and do basic ab exercises like crunches and knee raises. If the stuff you see on those infomercials actually worked, gyms would have closed down years ago, and we'd all look like bodybuilders...... without ever stepping foot in a gym.

See what I mean?

I bought a slendertone for my tummy and it really worked i even got some abs, i used it for about 3 months.

NO - not the ones sold to average people like u and me.

not enough current to produce any results

do something that's free and easier like a TVA exercise...

They are brilliant. You have to wear them for a long time and turn them right up though....ouch!!

they can cause a hernia/pulled muscle /or a strain if you aren't fit to start with

i think they r rubbish if you are somewhat toned. but theres noticeable change if you've got big stomach.
