You should get it seen to however fingers can heal quite quickly. put a plaster either round the finger to close the cut or down the finger, which ever way the cut is you need to close it...then once its closed bind it to stop the tape or plaster from loosening..keep an eye on it and change as necessary

Really you should have gone A & E. If you havent and it was a while ago I would make sure it is really clean, pull the edges together and make sure they stay together with a little plaster ( butterfly stitches ) then keep it dry and covered for about 2-3 days then uncover and start bathing with anteseptic.

Make sure the wound is clean, strap it with 1 or 2 band aid so its held together firmly and then put a bandage round for extra padding if you feel it needs it. Change dressings daily and as sound as it starts to bond together let the air get to it as much as possible. Make sure your tetanus is up to date. xxx

It depends whereabouts on your finger you sliced it. You say itis deep but how wide is it? If not, a normal plaster will do. If in any doubt, get it checked at a hospital. If its not serious enough to consider hospital, then an elastoplast will do.

Make sure the wound's clean. Then either bandage it or put a plaster on it so you don't catch it on something and open the wound.

As it quite deep I would get yourself down to A&E and have the cut checked out. It might only need a butteryfly stitch, but what ever happens get out of there as fast as possible, otherwise you might die of MRSA

Of course, you must protect it soon. You should have done that at once. And you can put some sugar on the cut for some minutes before the bandage.
It works miracles.

if you have liquid bandaid, it works charms, its basically the same as the glue they use in the er. I used it when my son sliced his head on the corner of a vcr. otherwise put some neosporine on it and put on a butterfly bandaid
