I would say Larry Holmes, he had the misfortune to be the champion right after Ali and never got the proper credit or respect in my opinion. He is on of the best in boxing history but is often overlooked.

Larry Holmes. He never got the credit he deserved. He beat the best of his generation. He beat Ali. He's held the belt for a long, long time. He's one of the best of all time but is often overlooked and underrated.
