take her to an amusement park or...if u live somewhere where there are lots of festivals like in california, take her to one of those...it would be cute:D

first of all i'm in 8th grade too so i like going to the movies or even walk around the mall and get something to eat the important thing is being with her or us girls being with u (*hint: go to a scary movie so if she gets scared u can hold her in ur arms or something like that)

Ask her to go see a movie...if you think she might be uncomfortable on the first date then try bringing a friend and tell her she should bring one also.

just hang out, at someones house in the back yard talking, you two need to TALK!! to connect even better
