yeah i have never got bikini waxed and never will.....

I am not the bashful type. I recently had a brazilian wax...ouch...never again. A bikini wax is not that bad. You can wear bathing suit bottoms if you want. The people who do the waxing don't really care, it is what they are paid to do. It is pretty quick, but if you are not used to being waxed I would definately take along some music and pop a few pain relievers prior to your appointment. If you're feeling ambitious you can buy a kit to do it at home. Beware. It is hard to induce vountary pain on yourself and sometimes pulling off the strip by yourself is challenging. Sally Hansen makes good waxing strips. You warm them in your hands. They are pretty easy to use and don't make a huge mess. Good luck. Happy waxing. I just wanted to add...yes, it does hurt like a mother-f-er, but the results are SO worth it. I regularly wax my legs, pits, eyebrows, bikini. After a while you get comfortable with the sensation. In fact I really believe that the sound is worse then anything (see above music rec). You really shouldn't be embarassed for a bikini wax. They do it all day long. I highly recommend being professionally waxed at least once.

I worked in a spa for years. To be embarrassed is silly there are people in everyday to get that done and yes it does hurt. I'm not sure it is worth the reward myself and I could get it done for free try using warm water before you shave and use a good razor like a m3 and a shaving gel unscented for sensitive skin. Even if you have to do it every day I still wouldn't have it done again. But believe me no reason to be shy-they just want to get the job done themselves!

im not shy or embarrassed just scared. but i dont think ill ever get a bikini wax

I'm not really too shy but I'm sure it's damn painful. I tried waxing it myself and it hurt so I just ended up shaving. Much easier.

YESS i don't think i'll be able 2 do it anytime soon, get a friend or fam member to buy some wax and they'll do it for u if u feel mroe comfortable wit them

I'm not really emabarrassed b/c they see it everyday, but I did have it done once and it hurt so bad. It took my breath away and I got dizzy. I don't think I could ever do it again, but it sure was nice when I put on a swimsuit!- So smooth!

i'm not scared, just too shy. i don't even like to show as much skin that shows in a one-piece bathing suit, let alone show THAT to a complete stranger! plus what if they are like "ewww..."?
