I have had some experiences with spirits and strange feelings you get during certain times. But I was wondering what people thought about those feelings- maybe if they were just something you created in your mind or something that is real? I thought it was possible that maybe the spirit of someone that has passed away can still exsist. Example: On the anniversary of third year after the death of my grandfather- the light on my desk flashed 3 times. Do you think stuff like that is a quencidence or controlled by a form of a spirit? Kinda like the spirit of god you feel sometimes when you enter a church. Or that sometimes I can smell the pipe tobacco my grandfather used to smoke in the air from time to time. Does anyone have an opinion on this kind of stuff?

sometimes we do tend to blame spirit when things get a little spooky... but most of the time it is nothing out of the ordinary
however with things like smells coming and going ... this is a little different
as those who study the paranormal will tell you that smells are one of the hardest things to explain away
scents carry molecules that cant come and go the way they do in these instances.... they would linger before dissapearing
but as you probably know , when it is spirit ... it comes in an instant and goes just as quickly .... this is not possible with regular scents
so im pretty sure that your grandfather is popping in now and then just to say hello

i am a believer. i will not doubt you or your experiences. i have had similar ones.maybe it is something we create in our own minds due to grief or longing but does it matter? you know what you feel and sense and if you find peace in it - go with it. whatever gets you through the night is my way of thinking.
