My friend, you need to understand three things.
1) Borat is a Jew and not a Christian.
2) Borat is a comedian, and his movie is a comedy.
3) Borat knowingly said outrageous things so we could see the stupidity of those who went along with him.
EDIT:
Nobody answering here seems to understand who Borat is. His real name is Cohen, and he is a British comedian who happens to be Jewish.

I have not seen the Borat movie, but I can honestly say that if he is in fact from Kazakhstan is most likely either a Muslim or a Russian Orthodox Christian.

Those my friend are the Pentecostals, I went to a Pentecostal church for a while with my wife it was definitely a strange experience.
