Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned.

Religion is a structure built from a philosophy.
People take a philisophical idea and form it into a foundation for religion then run with it.
Its better to have a philosophy than a religion.

Semantics. Religion usually at least one god, philosophy may or may not. Philosophy tends to be a lot more personalized than religion, or even entirely unique.

Religion is all that relates to cultic practices (all religion being cultic in a scholarly sense)

Philosophy is the study of wisdom

Theology is the study of God

Philosophy requires everyone who subscribes to it to think about it and understand it. You don't need to think about religion or understand it to be religious.
