Not a chance. That is a waste of several good years devoted to someone who doesn't want what you do. There is someone out here that would marry you sooner.

Well is he saying to wait that long before he wants to marry or have you been dating that long and are having thoughts about getting out because it's going nowhere? If I was with a man that long and he didn't want to get married then I would move on. I am a family person though and want the marriage kids and so on...some people are comfortable with themselves and not getting married...I think this is up to you to decide what you feel is best for you...if you are not happy then move on...you two can still be friends.

No not if I was the type of person that wanted to get married. I think you should move on and find a man that wants to marry you. But the question is do you want ot marry this guy or do you just want yo get married? Answer that question and I think you will know what to do!

No. I always had a 6 months rule.
If he couldn't even say he LIKED me within 6 months, I was obviously wasting my time.
Within one year, if you can't marry him, there's a high possibility that he NEVER WILL.

My boyfriend and I just celebrated our 7 year anniversary and there is no sign of "marriage" in the near future. But I love him and I know he loves me and thats all that matters.
