The thing is that even shy guys make a move when they have to. Good luck

I've been there and done that so the thing I'd do is just relax. Maybe you can call him on the phone or chat with him online? I don't really know how shy you are with the guy so I can't really give proper advice, but that's what i think would work for you. If you guys have talked before, try to just rave up the courage to have more conversations with him. Because certainly there isn't going to be a date or even a friend date (or anything further) until one of you gets up the courage to become acquainted or something more.

Oh, and you can write him a note if you want.

Wow, that is spooky cuz you sound just like me!!!! I'm in 9th grade and really shy and my crush is really shy, we don't have classes together and its hard for us to talk to one another cuz we're both so shy! But start off simply by just smiling or being like "hey!" whenever you pass in the halls.
After you do that for a week or so then you move can kinda just be like "Hey, umm, do you have Mrs. Johnson for any class?" but get up a big adrenaline rush before you ask him or have one of your friends push you into him so you dont chicken out!!! But start casually. It'll get easier the more you do it and your conversations will get longer. Good luck to the both of us...!

Yes, write him a note or just get up the nerve to talk to him

A few moments of embarrassment is a small price to pay for a hopefully special relationship.

I just recently had lunch with a friend from High School who admitted to me that she had a crush on me. I was floored because I would have given my right arm to be with her. Iwas furious with myself.
The worst thing you can feel looking back on the past is regret. Embarassment goes away, but regret sticks with you for years. It was 10 years ago and, I swear to you, my heart aches thinking about missing out on her.
That said, don't fool with notes. Just decide that you like him, you want to talk to him and do it. It's like skydiving- you just gotta decide to jump out of the plane.

Just go up to him and kiss him, if it is meant to be it will work from there....there is no two ways about it....also don't run away, just stand there and stare at him, he will have to say something, but realize it will probably be dumb because he will be shocked.... you are young, and should have no regrets whatsoever later on in life..... think of it this way, if you dont, and you see him with someone else later on how would you feel?

if he likes you, too, I don't think its a terrible thing to be nervous and still hang out. Some people are really afraid of that. If you both like eachother, you will ge3t used to eachother soon enough. Just don't pretend that you don't like him...that will only make things worse.

I agree with sarell

If you get a chance to walk by him do it and "accidentally" drop your books, most likely he should try to help! Worked for my husband, now we have a kid. (He's the one that dropped the books.) Oh, this may help to start some conversation!

Good Luck!
