He'll be fine. He may have a little gas or upset stomach for a few hours, but he's not going to die from Chex Mix.
Keep all food out of reach of dogs.

doggzma is completely overreacting...salt cannot KILL a dog. My dog once ate an entire bag of christmas candy and was only sick for a few days. Upset stomach, bloated, and diarrhea, but nothing more.
Don't worry too much. If it seems like your dog is having problems or if you just want to be on the safe side, contact your veterinarian.

What will happen? You wont get any chex mix.
Your dog will be fine, assuming the chex mix didnt have any chocolate in it. If he did eat chocolate, call your vet.

He may have some vomiting, diarrhea, and an upset stomach, but he will be fine. You may want to try to get him to drink extra water to help flush all of the salt out of his system (just FYI, he will need to go outside more often)

Just be prepared for some cleaning up. He might puke or have diarrhea. Next time, tell him that the Chex-mix is yours!

What kind of chex of chex mix was it? if it is just plain, it should be okay, just make it drink lots of water. if it is the cheese or chocolate kind, take it to the vet immediatley.

Call your vet!
The danger lays in the amount of sodium content. Too much salt CAN make a dog very ill, even kill it. While your dog is large enough that it is doubtful the chex mix will be fatal, it could affect his liver.
Again, CALL YOUR VET NOW!
