well...i'm an international student...it took me freakin 10 years to learn 'proper' english!
i first started out with this 'formal' english...and have no freakin clue with those slangs !
next time when you dont understand her....help her...or just say it straight to her face that you dont understand and try helping her with the right words....i bet she'll appreciate it
