I'm getting bangs soon, yay. But I'm not sure which style to choose

I'd prefer the bangs from the first picture. Mainly because they are longer, and in the picture with Hilary Duff, it looks like the bangs could easily irritate your eyes, due to the length.

I like the second one, it will suite you if you have a face like hillary's sort of squarish. Are you going for the same colour too, as the colour of your hair and how you hair is normally will contribute to the overall results...I find my hair to look like Hillary Duffs (minus the colour) when I leave the salon but can't recreate it at home exactly as my hair has a natural wave in it.

I honestly did not see much of a difference between the two and I looked @ the picture several times each. They appear to be the same length which is to the eyes. I think you should choose whatever fits your face more. Good Luck.
