I have tried everything though it is hard to meet other lesbians because there's almost none in my area. I tried Yahoo personals, match.com, matchmaker.com, planetout.com, gay.com, gaydargirls.com, americansingles.com, udate.com, true.com, singlenet, lavalife. Most of them you have to pay so I didnt try to send email and I can't pay. I tried everything and still not find a LTR. I am nice, have good outlook, funny, smart, posted a pic, and very honest and I still cannot find anyone. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I'm a straight girl and am having just as much problems finding guys. It's actually a growing trend among All singles (no matter what their sexual orientation), It's hard to reach out to other people. The best advice I can give is just to try to go out. Hit the movies, library, clubs, museums. Anywhere people are.

Maybe post something on myspace. I saw a girl on there the other day that did that and I think she met someone. That's totally free and it's fun too. It is hard to meet someone of quality on the internet, but it can be done. I met my fiance on the internet and we have been together for about 3 years and are getting married in June! Honey, you have to quit looking so hard and let it happen when the timing is right. Make sure your life is in order and you're doing all that you can to make your life great and when you least expect it, she'll be there. If you keep forcing the issue, you're only going to find a desperate woman that probably won't treat you well.

Craigslist is free and you can post personals and what not on there. You can look in your city or anywhere in the us. Dont listen to some of the people on here, be true to yourself and you find someone who apreciates you!

My roommate (lesbian) also seems to have the same problem. She simply is not making an effort to put herself out there to meet people (in her words.) She seems to dwell, linger, and lament too much of the past. She talks of her old lovers often. Maybe it's a "lesbian thing"? Idunno.
