Some rashes are not really rashes and can become more irritated by applying hydrocortizone cream, benadryl, calamine, etc.
If a simple hydrocortizone cream does not produce results after applying it to the effected area twice in 24 hours, it is time to go to your doctor/dermatologist for testing.
My coworker thought she just had a rash... it continued to spread and spread no matter what she did. It took several (5) doctors to figure out what it was... Lupus!! She had rashes on her arms, chest and face.
Don't mess around with rashes... get medical advice if they don't improve after 2 treatments of over-the-counter topical treatments.

depends? are you getting big bloshes on your skin, are you having difficulty breathing. if so go to the hospital for some benadryl shot. if it is only a rash then hopefully it will go away in 24 to 48 hours.

i would go to the drugstore and buy "benedryl cream" -- this is cream that stops itching, gets rid of redness, and has the same "anti-allergy" effects as benedryl (wow, i feel like a commercial...)
i'd also take a benedryl because that will help with the rash.
if it doesnt go away or even gets worse, i would see the doctor and maybe try to get a prescription for a stronger medicine.

whatever it was don't use it or wear it again...don't irritate the rash...take some benadryl and let it run it's course...you should be rid of the rash in a few days...also don't use hot water on it...it only irritates the rash..

Caladryl Clear Lotion, helps clear it up and stops the itching. It contains Benedryl so don't take an oral antihistamine with it or you will be double dosing yourself. It's like Benedryl without the drowsiness because it isn't taken orally.

Aveeno makes an oatmeal bath. It's a powder that you add to your bath and soak in. My son has allergies and often gets rashes and this works wonderfully!

Benedryl gel or hydrocortisone cream. You can find both in any pharmacy.
