A tetanus shot will not hurt the baby. Tetanus shots are good for ten years though,so if you have had one in the last ten years then just clean the wound well and put something like A&D or another anti-bacterial cream on it. Also keep a clean bandage on it at all times. I have an 8 month old and I had to have a tetanus shot when I was pregnant. But it wouldn't hurt to call the doc anyway.

Good Luck!!

A tetanus shot is good for ten years.
Clean the wound out real good with antibacterial soap. Keep it clean and covered.
You can call your doctor to see what he advises but if you've had a tetanus shot within the last ten years you should be fine.

Before you do anything contact your Dr. The sooner the better.
Also, find out when your last tetanus shot was. We tend to forget about these things and it may be up to date. Worth asking about.

Go to the doctor (emergency room). Tetanus shot should not affect your baby.

When was the last time you had a shot? If its been 10 years then its safe to have one now. Its safe in pregnancy and there is no evidence of fetal complications.
