Mooses are huge and act very agressive when they don't want company. In most cases the grizzley would probably win and probably get a few injuries in the process. Like other animals leave wolverines alone a moose is not going to go after a grizzly for the thrill of a good fight. If a grizzly was going after the young or it's family why not? I think the moose would do some serious damage. The moose would get a few clawmarks but let's get serious the mountain men in the 1800s killed grizzley bears by wrestling them and fighing to the death. Sure Jed. Smith lost an ear but he gave some great fights that made him famous. So why not the moose?

There used to be sport called bull bear fights. The bear almost always won. One swipe of it paw could kill a bull or a moose.

May depend on time of year for an older bull moose, depending on his antler size and circumstance. When a calf is young a cow will defend but may not win.But they have a wicked punching pattern with those sharp hooves.

The bear would win. Montana bears can be huge and if full grown might be 9' tall on it hind legs.
