i know he is going to say it.He just left for new york and was wishing i was going.We have been seeing each other for 6 months i really enjoy his company and will miss him but im not ready to say "I love you".....What do i say back when he says it..

Good luck ive been in that situation before and it can be awkward...youre doing the right thing by being prepared...just make sure your face doesnt show anything you dont want it to (you dont want to look too shocked or frightened you dont want him to think what he said is horrible)

If you aren't ready to be throwing those words around than good for you and pat yourself on the back to many people in today's world throw those words around. If he says I love you. Than say I have strong feels for you too. If this person asks why don't i get I love you back just say you are waiting for the right time. That's a tough one. If you don't say it back, you're going to break his heart. The best thing for you to do is to avoid the conversation, don't let him say it. If you're not ready to hear it, or ready to say it back, it's best that he doesn't say it at all. It's going to hurt him a lot if you don't say it back. Better to avoid it than to hurt him.
