I know there are 30,000 to 35,000 fire depts. in the USA. I would like to know from anyone how many are in Florida?

Approx 16,000 fire stations in Florida, I know some departments have many stations.. This was in 2005
I found a list of 350 florida fire departments. including statistical information for alot of them.
Miami Dade County has 54 Fire Stations and 1600 firefighters.

Don't know for sure how many departments there are in Florida, but I know that it has to be less than there are in Texas...
