The only thing that really works is Erythromycin Topical Solution
USP 2 %. It is through prescripstion only. When my daughter and
son were younger I took them to their family Dr. and asked if he
can prescribe them something for their acne which this is what
he give them and it really works. I as a mom don't really get any
pimples only once a month and you know how that goes. But
when I use this product before it really apears it dries up. My face is clear of pimples. As for my daughter her face is also clear of
pimples except the once of month deal, only she misplaced her
medication so she has to go through the whole ordeal with the
pimple thing. All you have to do is check to see if your parents
Insurance covers the medication give the the Dr. the name of the medication and see if he'll prescribe it. As for proactive I don't
know about that stuff, all I know is what the Dr. prescribed to my
teenagers, (now they are young Adults 22 and 20) back then they
were 16 and 14.

it all depends on the skin. for me, proactiv just made my skin much worse. right now, im using this machine-like thing called zeno. it works really good b/c i have combination skin and all it does is delivers heat to the source of the problem and it zaps the zit away in like a week or so, depending on the blemish. you could also use something with salicylic acid or benzoil peroxide in it, but whatever you use, you have to do it with consistantcy for, say, 6 weeks.

Proactiv is good but you'll
break out worse for a while
and then your skin gets better.
My daughter used it.
