Dont get me wrong, he is evil to the core and according to their laws, is getting what he deserves..but for some reason, I cannot find it in my heart to be celebrating this act...nor can I rejoice over anyone else getting a death sentence,..this of course is because of my Christian believes, which says We have to forgive others, or we won't be forgiven, and let God and Jesus be the judge...I know I should be 'happy'..but somehow, I can't feel good about celebrating his death,...Does anyone else know how I feel?..I don't judge those who are happy about it, for I know how monsterous he was...

I do not believe that he should be set free...God created human beings, but they have the choice wether or not to go good or evil..and if in fact, Sadaam never heard the word of God,..he too will have a chance at Christs second coming...maybe some won't believe that...I think he should have been imprisoned, and yes, he is the epitomy of evil...satan worked strong through him, and he wouldn't stop to feel sympathy for anyone, truly

YOU can forgive Sadaam, but the COURT has condemned him. There will be NO chance at the Second Coming. For those who have heard the offer of salvation in this life and have turned it down only have that one chance while alive. Once you're dead, the decision you made in this life will stand for eternity. For those who have NEVER heard the offer of salvation (that poor native in the jungles of South America, for example), they are spoken of in Romans 2, starting with verse 6. It is quite clear starting in verse 12 how those who have never heard of the offer of salvation will be treated.
As far as the hanging death of Sadaam and those other two, personally, I think it was too easy for them. They were only convicted on the 148 deaths, not the MILLIONS they were responsible for. But you can only die once in this life time. I believe they will be meeting much worse punishment for eternity.

Yes, Sadaam killed innocent people. I do think he deserves to be imprisoned. Has anyone ever thought about the fact that there are other innocent people (our soldiers) that we should focus on? America feels an obligation to police terrorist countries but George Bush is actually viewed as a terrorist as well. Imagine those women and children who are injured or killed by the bullets of our troops. Does that not sound like a terrorist regime? Forcing your beliefs upon those who resist. Isn't that what a terrorist would do?

I think I feel that way, or similar. I wouldn't have changed the sentence, and I'm not at all against the death penalty, but it's not a time to celebrate. I celebrated his capture and the endo of his regime. This is just dotting the i's and crossing the t's I think.

In my own personal opinion i think he should be tortured! He killed children, babies, wives, mothers, fathers, sisters and so on! He deserves what he is getting and more in my opinion. Everyone has to let go of such evil man! He shouldn't have even been born! How come god put him on this earth to be cruel? Doesnt make any sense to me why he would create such a monster.

Yes, I know how you feel, and I agree with you. He is the epitime of evil and deserves to spend the rest of his life imprisoned. I don't believe in the death penalty either, thou shalt not kill has no "and, if, nor but".

I can see your point but if he is set free then he will continue to kill innocent people. I would not want that to happen would you? I believe he should be put to death. How would you feel if it had been your family that he tortured and killed??? You don't have to rejoice but you should feel that justices has been served.

I understand where you are coming from. Hard to condone murder nut harder to let him go for all HE has murdered. However did his hand actually do the act or did he hire. I think the man is evil but did he kill even one person or did his hired goons do them all and why are they not going to die right beside him. OK now we know I am confused.
