I can't tell you if you have Alzheimer's disease, but it sounds like you need to strenghten your memory. Do you ever read books, or do anything to maintain and increase your brain power ?

If you are bothered by it you must be forgetting some very important things.

Or if you are only concerned then you are probably having an episode, about aging or about Friends and Relationships.

If you can afford an annual check up with a doctor you would be best off. That way you keep up with the day to day changes in your life and the doctor will recognize them and let you know if there is anything to be concerned about.

Some time ago I thought I had cancer ... I did not. My advice: go see a doctor and stop making guesses. Very few people on yahoo answers are qualified to give you the answer. By searching internet for symptoms, you will find just about every type of ilness. Save yourself some stress and start by seeing a physician.

Probably not Alzheimers. Your symptoms are not typical of this disease. However, you've got something going on with your short term memory. I wish I could tell you not to worry, but in all honesty, the best advice is go to a Doc, get a brain scan, see what's cookin' up there. I wish you the best of luck.

No! It is NOT alzheimer's. This is simply short term memory loss that...I forgot what I was going to say...OH! This is fairly common. Some simple brain teasing-type puzzles can help you out with this. Soduku is an excellent one! More than likely, what you're experiencing is related to stress. Take time to relax and enjoy life.

sounds more like over load. We tend to shut down a bit when to much is going on IE. family stuff, school or work stuff, relationship stuff, anything stressful. A poor brain can only remember so much. Relax and all will come back. Mine did. NO WAIT WHO AM I>..lol...just kidding.

One classic way to remember whats Alzheimers and what isnt. If you forget where you placed your car keys you dont have Alzheimers. If you pick up the keys and dont know what car keys are for - yes, it could be Alzheimers. So not to worry if you belong to the majority who simply forget things because you have too much to do.

It might be because you have to much on your mind. Or you might have short term memory lost. It could also be because the older you get the harder it is to remember things.

My b/f (31) supposedly has the same thing... its called selective memory. You remember what you want to and the rest is like it never existed.

No, a good sign of alzheimers is if you go outside to leave and forgot to put your clothes on.

That's just a little forgetfull. Try taking some ginko biloba or ginseng.
