What would you call a man who buys his long term girlfriend (7-8 years) a convertible for about £8,000 for Christmas (not brand new), assuming that he's earning around £25,000/ year. I'm looking for words like normal, generous etc. First word that jumps into mind. Thanks!

Is the insurance in his name, and I'd have the brakes checked
out if I were you. You never know peoples motives.
