the info button on my remote will not show the show titles?

i have an olevia hdtv with a built-in hd / digital tuner, and when i hit info on my remote, it gives me the parental rating of the show and even the resolution of the broadcast, but it will not show the title of the show. thanks for any help.

Couple of reasons,
a) The TV station itself is not transmitting the information. Analog stations send very little side info. Check a digital channel (say 2.1 or 5.1) and you should get more info.

b) The TV itself ignores that info

Does your TV support this technology? Does your Cable provider provide it? If not, you may be out of luck. Did it ever work?
