is there a way to find out if someone is under investigation by child protective??

no, the records are sealed unless there is a conviction

I would doubt it.
I think that child protective services has a duty to keep such matters confidential.
But if you feel that someone is being a danger to achild, please DO make that phone call.
Chances are you are correct and you would be doing both people a world of good. Cps does not just remove children, the do monitor the stiutation, the can order family counseling etc.
Give those children a voice
