You mean the truth as you see it? No. Is what you beleive to be true the real truth? How do you know? How do we know?

To some degree you're right that people rarely come here looking for "truth", but more for confirmation of their own truth. But using this arena as a soapbox to give others the perfect truth is no different from standing up in a crowd to speak your message. Some will be open to the message and some will not. That's a truth that even Jesus acknowleged.

I got a little discouraged too, knowing full well if I told the truth I wouldn't get best answer. Then the thought came to me is best answer more important than telling the truth. I decided to be as kind as I could but, never to sacrifice truth for a little popularity. I like my true self best. Truth tends to be hard to accept for all of us.

On this site and in life, you don't always get rewarded fairly. You could have the best answer and still not get best answer chosen.

And maybe we shouldn't be too sure that we know THE truth.

We're only human, and everything we say turns out to be questionable to some degree.

Your absolutely right!

The people who you are answering, most likely arent looking for an alternative, or option to truth, but looking to vent their own belief or opinion, and hoping others agree.

If someone asks a question on this forum, they should be respectfully open to all answers, instead of just the guy or gal who thinks the same way.

No one learns anything new or true if they just keep patting each other on the back!

The truth is subjective to both the one questioning and the answerer, so how can your answers be perfect? Your answers are perfect for you maybe but that doesn't mean they are perfect for everyone.

If you answered every question perfect and true you would be the first human in history to do so.

I accept the truth (first discerning truth from non-truths) and believe because the conclusions lead me to my beliefs.

not true... sometimes the best answer is the most simple and to the point. or maybe a particular perspective appeals to the one asking the question. There is no "set" right or wrong best answer.
