Let me be honest with you ... if you really love him and care about him den you simply won't be able to get him off your mind so don't waste your time by trying because I have tried to do the same for the past year and it is absolutely useless. All you can do is that by time passing by you will be able to hide him somewhere in your mind but if u want him out for good that aint gonna happen unless yr love was not as real as you think right now .. good luck

Sit down an obsess for a while...think of all the reasons why you think of him. What makes him "special" to you?
Then, go out and find someone else that has those qualities, and there are others out there who do.
You don't want a clone of him, don't get me wrong, but if you are stuck on the way he is sweet and caring, there are others who are like that as well. If you like him because he is in good physical shape, there are others like that too.
Use him as a gage as to what you are looking for, but know that he isn't perfect, no one is.
If there is no way that the 2 of you can be together, your best bet is to assess what it is you want and go find it elsewhere.

Go out and do exciting things. Live an exciting life. The best way to get over someone is to replace the fun you had with that person with even better things. Good luck to ya. I've been there.

Get involved in church. Pray.

I suggest church because you can do things in a group and it takes the focus of of you and him and puts it on God. Opens the avenue for more friends, which are wonderful to have.

Also figure out if there's something you need to say to that person, that's not mean, to help close that chapter of your life. If they hurt you by doing whatever...let them KINDLY know it. Accept the end result and move along.

If it's any consolation, you're not the only one.
Allow yourself to cry and give yourself some time.
And then will come a time when it'll start to feel better and hopefully, you, I and many others will manage to find happiness again.

It takes time. Trust me I know how you feel, no matter how much your hurting and how much you try to get him off your mind, time is the best medicine for you. Just live your life, don't corrode yourself for him. I know you will think about him eventually once in awhile but everyone does. Time is what you need.

go out with your friends, spend time with your family, do some work around the house, see a movie, go shopping, read a book, watch a movie
you got the picture... have fun and keep your mind busy

keep your mind busy, do some chores around the house, listen to happy songs, play games on your computer

or even better, answer questions on yahoo answers ;-)

there is no "solution" as such, you'll just have to find your own way to figure it out, because its different for everyone.

Get over it . . . . find something else to do and stop feeling sorry for yourself. You are better off without him and he was no good for you... at all... really.

keep yourself occupied as much as possible or write your feelings down on a piece of paper then tear it up into as many pieces as you can and throw them away.. This way you get it all out.

it depends.
if it's a breakup, getting him off of your mind
will be a lot more difficult.
you'll need time to yourself, comfort foods and your
best friends.

if you just miss him, go do something exciting that you havent done in a while with your friends.
