hi, fo rnew year i am trying to put my hair in a wavy ponytail, much like my avatar. i have tried to do it, but just can't get it to look nice. any tip? please help!!!

Tease your hair? If you want it to look like your avatar, use a rollore or a tong. Rollersare abouta min. of $3 and a decent tong cost about $13 (I think, not exactly sure about that)
If you just want your hair to raise up, use styling products like mousse, which will give a soft hold, but a hold that is still strong enough to give you that poof.

Back combing it will make it poof out, and then holding it down with a bobby pin and using hair spray to get rid of the stray hairs will have it looking like your avatar.
Don't back comb it too much though, or too often. It'll end up looking like a RATS NEST.

Ask your hair-"want conditioner?" Then don't give it any!!
No, really put in the ponytail while your hair is damp.

um gel comb and back comb it it looks awesome!
