I don't know you, so I can't make any suggestions. A tattoo is a highly personal work of art, and what would look good on one person wouldn't necessarily look good on another person.
Seek out an artist whose work impresses you and talk to them. If you have a few rough ideas, they can help you develop them into a unique design that will say something about the kind of person you are.

Look through some tattoo sites on the net, there are hundreds of them, birds, fairies, dragonflies, butterflies, celtic,chinese/japanese symbols are popular with girls, pick something that means something to you. If you find something you like print it and keep it by you for at least 1 month. If you are fed up of it after this time, you'll be glad you didn't get it put on your body. My daughter designed her own tattoo, two butterflys with swirls coming off them. She kept her design for 3 months before getting it done to make sure she really liked it.

you should not get a tattoo just b/c you think its cool or cute. You should get something that has meaning to you b/c its going to be with you untill you die. Just think about that before you go and get the typical butterfly on your lower back or something of that nature. Do something that fits you and you will be happy having till you die. Good luck.

It has to be something that you are passionte about. If you just go and get something that you think looks cool, then you will regret it in no time.
Think hard. What is the one thing that you love to do more than anything? What is the one thing you love more than anything, (excluding people.)?
If you find the answer to that question, then you have your tatoo. Design it yourself. You don't want someone else having the same tatoo as you...

if you have to ask you shouldnt get a tat. i dont have any yet because i havent been able to come up with one that means enough to me to get it etched into my skin.
think of something important to you and work around that. say if you are really into music get a musical note or if there is a certain thing you always associate with something good get that. but remember that a tattoo is permanent and shouldnt be taken lightly. those things are permanent.

no one on here is going to be able to help u pick your tattoo...hopefully. Deciding what to get is a very personal thing....I took quite awhile to decide what i'm getting in 3 weeks and didn't know what i wanted until i had my daughter....waited until there was something meaningful enough to me to actually really want to get it and have it not lose meaning....took me almost a year to design it and now it's exactly what i want...best of luck if you decide to get inked.

I have a small tattoo of a heart with a vine through it. I got it when I was 18 (not telling how many years ago that was...) and it was put on my hip. Nobody can see it unless I want them too. I have never regretted it. Please though, whatever you do, DO NOT get someones name tattood on your body!

do not get tattoo's with anyone's name except your own. If it is your first I would suggest something small in a place that can be covered easily. Get something you like- butterflies, flowers, etc.

a piece of parchment paper that says something awesome, like on your wrist.
make it a cool saying or a poem this is cool
"
I've been up at this all night long
I've been drowning in my sleep
I've prayed for your safe place
And its time for us to leave
Time is running, its running on empty and the gas is running out
I've decided that tonight is the night
That I let love aside
Full speed ahead this seems to be the place
I've seen this once before
Planned perfection sought in my dreams
Hoping this would take you home
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
So kiss me one last time
Around this turn where the cross will cast your shadow
The people will all gather
To remember such a day
Where the flames grew as high as trees
And the world stopped for you and me
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your eyes)
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
(so hold on tight)
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your eyes)
I will now bring new meaning to the word alone
Endless nights of dreaming of life
And the days we should have spent here
Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my sleep
Drowning in my sleep I'm drowning in my sleep
Glass shatters and comes to a halt
I thought we'd be there by now
I thought it would be so much quicker than this
Pain has never been so brilliant
I made sure you were buckled in
Now you can walk hand in hand with him
Hand in hand with him
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your eyes)
My knuckles have turned to white
There's no turning back tonight
(so hold on tight)
Kiss me one last time
(Shut your...)
