I have been brought up never to be jealous of what anyone has because i dont know how they came by it in the first place...but i experience other people in my life who probably have more than me, and are still jealous of what i have worked to get.....what is it that gets a person to this stage of jealousy?....is it insecurity what?

Off it...i do not agree with your statement, i happen to think that jealousy is like a disease that eats away at people, and if not treated, or nipped in the bud...it only gets worse and festers.....and for your info i'm quite happy with myself, and what i have thank you very much...so i have no need to cover up any jealousy or anything for that matter....i hope we are straight on this one now.

Jealousy is like a disease......and it will consume a person if they're not careful. Don't allow yourself to get caught in that trap. Good Luck!!

Yep, it is. If you truly and sincerely like and respect yourself, there is often no need to be jealous of others, because you have worked hard to earn the things you have received. And yes most jealousy is rooted in insecurity. Be blessed by who you are and what you have still to do and let the jealous ones be.

Jealous people are extremely destructive and behave like they are mentally unstable.

It's selfishness. They want to have themselves be happy and are envious of things that they believe make you happy.
