it will encourage more people to enjoy the warm weather and all the parts which are underwater can be converted to sea parks. Have you ever heard about reclaiming land from the sea?

Global warming means that the polar ice caps will melt and more and more low-lying countries will be inundated with water. The Netherlands has, for example, reclaimed a lot of land from the sea, but if the icecaps are melting, the sea level rises and the dykes will be over-run. So, more and more people, less and less land, more and more wars over territory. Global warming is disastrous for everyone. Underwater sea parks would be great - for the fish.

I think Global warming is most defiantly being used as an excuse to do all sorts of things by governments. Even our wast is being checked by little Hitlers in councils, even though they send the waste off to other country's where it is dumped in huge heaps. We are having freedom snatched from under our noses. Terrorism is one excuse and global warming is another. lol call me Mrs Cynical

Maybe.

Rising sea level will be very bad for the economy, overwhelming the Thames barrier and flooding parts of London for example. But agriculture would benefit I would think.

Anything that dramatically alters our way of life, our agriculture, the tidal patterns, rainfall patterns, etc etc is going to cost us dear.

Our infrastructure, stressed as it is, will have to be altered to suit the new conditions. We may not be able to cope.
