The eyelid of my eye is really puffy. how can i get it back to normal? (and its not pink eye)?

I was told to put a warm rag on it, or better yet put a potato in the microwave heat it up so it is really warm then wrap a rag around it and hold it over your eye for 15-30mins or until you can't take the heat remove it for a little while then repeat. It really help the swelling go down for me.

I think it may be an eye infection? You said it isn't pink eye. Sometimes I would get an eye infection and my eyes would swell up. I would use Benedryl for a couple days and the swollen eyes would be gone. Also, try cold cucumber slices on your eyes.
