i honestly thought only men wore these and all the mens suits i bought have the buttonhole on the left, so thats the side theyll be wearing it on then regardless what side is the proper side

Men's suites generally have a button hole on the left lapel. Ladies wear corsages either on their bags or right side of jacket/top.

it is supposed to be on the left side over the heart i believe but its not a big deal ladies like wrist corsages too its much easier then pining onto those dresses it can be a pain

I was the Groom's Mother, I wore mine on the left, My daughter-in-laws Mum had hers on her bag.
