a hemangioma is a benign tumor consisting of a mass of blood vessels. the location is also pretty benign- meaning it's fairly protected from trauma, so it shouldn't ever burst or bleed. hemangiomas don't usually grow much larger, and surgical excision can often cause more problems than if you just left it alone. unless it was causing you significant symptoms, i'd just leave it alone.

btw- the T12 vertebral body is your backbone at about the mid-lower back, approximately at the level of your belly button. but the vertebral body is pretty deep in your back- you can't feel it. the backbones that you can feel in your back is the spinous process. the vertebral body is much deeper.

Hemangioma is a small abnormal appearing collection of bloodvessels, most likely been there your whole life and of no clinical consequence. Don't worry about it. T12 is the 12th thoracic spinal bone (around your mid back).

i looked it up under research, i'd suggest asking your doctor... it is better to learn and know than to be thought to know and worry.

2nd look it up i found different things mainly red liaisons/ and something to do with nerves?
