That question doesn't have a real answer. Soil comes in many types and these types may be mixed in an almost infinate varieties.In general soils from transition metals is more acidic (pH of 6.8 or more) as are soils containing humic or tanic acids (Say from decayed plant material). Soils from calcium or other carbonates is more likely to be more basic (pH 7.2 or above)

It depends on where you are... soil Ph can change a bit in a matter of a few yards. I've never seen anything saying that Italy was different than any other locations with similar soil condidions. So, between 6 and 7 should cover just about everywhere in Italy.
