He is 10 years old, healthy otherwise, appetite undiminished, has been doing this for at least a year, antibiotics from vet not very effective. Now another cat is doing it.

It may be that your cat is sick.

You may need to take them both to another doctor.

It sounds like an upper respiratory infection which can be transmitted to other cats. If he's been doing this for about a year, then cultures should have been taken to see what is causing the constant discharge from his nose. If needed the vet could also do a biopsy or a scoping of the nasal passages and cavaties to see if there is an infection or mass. But if your other cat is doing it, it sounds like an infection. Might need more testing and different antibiotics as some infections are resistant to some antibiotics.

You need to call your vet and explain that you have another cat with the same symptoms and follow the advice given from them.

The only thing I can think of is maybe he has a sinus infection but you said he has been to the vet so I'm not sure what it could be. Sorry I can't help more.

Change your vet and get second opinion and maybe different treatment. The cat should not sneeze like that.....
