This year for Christmas I cooked all the food and then took it all to my son's house where I finished preparing the meal, then cleaned up and packed back up to come home. I felt like a caterer - lol
At least I didn't have to clean my house...

We cook, but my relatives will always call at the last minute to invite us, and they have a huge spread. So a little bit of both.

My family rotates every year whose house our celebration will be at. We have found this makes our holiday celebrations more relaxing. My fiance's family does the same thing but since his family is three times the size of mine, the person hosting makes the main dish and everyone brings a sidedish or desert.
