Eat any foods high in Vitamin C. Do you like spicy food? Jalepeno peppers are loaded with Vitamin C. it helps.

Airborne is a great start. Try drinking lots of cold water as that will help so you won't get a sore throat. Chicken soup and hot tea may help with the congestion too. If you have one, use a humidifier or vaporizer as this adds moisture to the air making your throat feel better and helping with congestion.

Supplements like C and zinc help too. These are most likely in the Airborne.

drink water but that doesn't mean tons just more than you usually would. airborne tends to help prevent colds although it can help get rid of them. i would try robbitussan or sudafed. eat whatever sounds good. when your sick its healthiest to eat rather than not too. so if a big steak sounds good eat it but it nothing really sounds good stick to crackers and mild things. if you don't feel any better by tuesday its probably not a cold but an infection in that case call your doctor...you'll need more than over the counter stuff at that point especially being back at school around germs..hope this helps

I caught a cold yesterday and am taking ZICAM. Its supposed to reduce the duration of colds. Also taking Cold-Eeze cough drops. Both of these products contain a Zinc base which may have some clinical benefit.
