Give it right back to him, around his family. If he has kids, do it around his kids. Do it right in his face one day or at the dinner table. Find the most embarrassing situation possible for him.
After you do this, tell him WHY you did it. Then get him a bottle of Bean-o -- you can use it your food while you're cooking.
If he loves you, he will try to quite doing this when he's around other people with you.

Well, at least he hasn't introduced you to dutch oven yet, so he can't be all bad. Seriously though, flatulence is a natural thing, but few of us just drop our pants and relieve ourselves wherever we feel like it and it's the same with farting. Explain to him that you know it's a natural thing but that you'd like him to make some effort not to assault your senses without some effort to mitigate the effects. That might mean slipping into the next room if the room he's in is occupied, or rolling down the car window, or sometimes holding it in when that makes sense. I doubt he'd let one loose in the middle of a job interview and it's not too much to ask for him to give you similar consideration. Also, buy him a bottle of Beano. It's supposed to reduce gas and maybe that will work.

You never told me he did that, hahaha. He didn't do it when he was over at our house on Christmas, and it's a GOOD THING! Sister, there is a friend of mine in the neighborhood that has this problem with her husband. Apparently, he was raised in a farting family...even the Mother does it. Maybe that's why J does it. Have you noticed whether his family does it when you go to his parents' house to visit? Have you seriously told him that out of all the things that bother you (haha) this is the ONE thing that really gets on your nerves?? Do you need your big Sis to do an "intervention"?? LOL

Make it a point to have him examine his diet. See if you can get him to either eliminate or limit the foods that cause the problem. If the problem still exists after that, he should see a doctor to see if there is a something else that's causing the problem.

well its an odd thing .. you cant really exspect to change his behavior , but you can change his food sources ....and ths control his gas. Try adding anise and fennel seed to foods (they reduce gas) also look into some anti gas drops.
Gotta luv the man who understands its better out than in.....

Take him to a doctor. He could have a serious medical condition, like he'll blow up if he doesn't let one out.
