Here's the background: I had unprotected sex with a woman 3 weeks ago. These last few days, I've been getting headaches and when I pee the tip of my penis stings. Should I see a doctor or will this go away by itself?

Absolutely! It could be a urinary tract infection, can be a sign of a kidney stone, or a sexually transmitted disease. Go see a doctor, whom most likely will order a urine culture to determine the source of the pain, and perhaps a blood test.

See a doctor; unprotected sex these days is crazy; you may have picked up a bacterial infection; you may have thrush; only a doctor can tell you what treatment is needed.
