Eating too much processed foods containing sugars and additives will reflect on your skin. The secret to clear skin is drinking lots of water - about 1.5lts per day. You can also help acne to clear up quicker by dabbing some lavender or tea tree essential oil neatly onto the affected areas.

No foods affect acne. Acne is caused by hormones, stress, clogged pores and bacteria. As in, you get it if you don't wash your face or if you are a teenager. The only diet-to-skin connection is food allergies and hives. However, eating a healthy diet helps keep a balance in your body, making for less stress, cutting down on stress pimples.

No. The old saying "You are what you eat" is not true. Acne occurs when sebaceous glands fill with too much waste and bacteria enters causing pustules. Hormones (stress) plays the big part of acne. So eat what you would like and don't worry 'you are not what you eat.'

there can be a connection to acne with the foods that you consume.
Most times it is hormones, bacteria on the skin, or overactive oil glands often caused by dry skin,
I would suggest washing your face with a gentle antibacterial soap and using a non oil moisturizer.
