Has anyone tried the Nutrisystem Diet?

I have a friend that used this diet system and he lost the weigh he set out to lose. He has a problem with portion control ( who doesn't ) so he always felt hungry after his nutrisystem meals. He said he overcame his hunger by taking very small bites, chewing each bite around 20 - 25 times and putting his fork down between bites to extend the tome he took to eat a meal. He said it takes discipline to do this but it worked for him.
