Ok.. take it slow. :) Dating at 37 is he-double-toothpick!!

About my new lady friend again..

I think at this point in the relationship - email only. We have exchanged information such as where we live and what we do for fun, pictures, and there is initial chemistry.

And as mentioned in the other question.. LOCATION PROBLEMS, New York to Chicago.

I don't want to rush that subject at all. As it seems like a very quick way to end a new connection if it comes up again.

So now I have to step back 20 feet. Should I just call her tonight and see how the voice and personality chemistry goes? emailing with practical strangers can be odd and I don't see where the talk can go... via email

I think ladies are better at doing the email / dating site thing.

So overall I need to brush up on how to keep email flirting exciting without investing too much into it, yet still keep the possibility open for future romance.

Have u ever seen "U've got mail"? I guess it is the perfect answer to your question. Well...in case u have nothing against Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan movies, I suggest u should see it. It might be the prove that relationships via e-mail do work sometimes. Location is not the problem here. The problem (or better say YOUR problem) here is that u really don't know what do u want from this potential relationship. You say that email flirting is exciting, you don't have to invest too much it, plus it gives u the possibility to stay open for other romances. Well....if u were more like a 17 years boy I would have understand your fear of commitment, yet you say u r 37 so... Oh, not to forget: u didn't tell me anything about your marital status so I'm guessing that u r a single dad (otherwise, my answer would not be the same). On the other hand, you've already posted 3 questions with the same topic so...I think u r really interested in this woman. The first step is for u to decide what do u want. In case you don't feel like trying something serious, then don't bodder to call her and keep up with the flirting via email. But in case u decide it is time to move on call her, arrange a meeting and then see what happens....It cannot be worse than a blind date....Oh, and remember this: if u don't invest much, then don't expect big profits!
Good luck!

I know just how you feel ! About a Month ago i have bin contacted by a Lady from Singlesnet. It was a argumentative Conversation at first. Did everything wrong to begin with (it's bin a while since my last serious Date), you get a little rusty !!!
After a couple of E-Dates we started Instant-Mailing. From then on Things started to get much smoother. We started seeing each other (fortunatly we live in the same Town) and everything is Progressing great.
I believe we have a Future together. GOOD LUCK TO YOU

It sounds like you are over-thinking this. Go with your gut.
