Yep, next step is Start - Control Panel - Fonts, then simply click on your new one and drag it into there.

When you downloaded it, you must not have put the font in the correct folder. You're suppose to download the font to your Microsoft Fonts folder. Then it should autimatically be put into word as a font option.

There are two ways to do this:

Copy the font file, go to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts and then paste the font inside it.

or

Go to Control Panel, Fonts and choose File > Install Font and select the font you wish to install.

Take the TTF out of the zip file first. Putting the zip file in the fonts folder won't work. You only want to put the TTF file in the fonts folder.

go to this directory
C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
click file, Install new fonts, then just path yourself to where it is (if you put it on disk go to A drive and select it). After you add it to your computers fonts it should appear in word. You also might be able to right click the font and install it.

Just copy it to the fonts folder, normally C:\Windows\Fonts. It will automatically be available to all applications.
