My ex gf and I broke up after 6 years of dating. She thinks she loves me sometimes as a bf and sometimes more as a friend. Anyways we break up and she said that she doesn't want to talk for the first month or so, so I agree. She has called me everyday crying. When I ask her straight out and say "We are never going to get together again are we?" She will never answer the question and keeps coming back with "I'm so confused right now and that you are the most amazing guy ever and there is nothing wrong with you". She said that she could see me as being the perfect husband for her. Yet she tells me that I shouldn't wait for her and should move on. I know I should give her time but can anyone shed some insight. Also do you think that this is just a phase she is going through and once she realizes how much she misses me that she will come back?

there are a few reasons she could be acting like this
1. she wants to see if there is someone else better for her
2. she is afraid of commitment
3. You are too good to her (it might scare her)
4. She thinks she is not good enough for you, or vice versa
She says shes confused because she thinks she might find someone better....this is not a phase. I suggest this, dont move on simply go out on dates, let her see how much fun you are having. Dont hurt yourself by doing this, trust me it works! Dont go crawling back to her and wait awhile before answering her phone calls and hanging out with her. Dont except her back or feel bad when she cries, she will just think she can keep breaking up with you and coming back....this is not acceptable! She will see how much she is missing with you and want to be with you again.

You were dating for 6 years. Why did you not get married? Something must have held you back? Maybe she feels she needs to look elsewhere to get on with her life, maybe she means to show you that she needs more of a commitment. Or she might have just realized she will not get it from you; hence the breakup, yet the daily calls 'cause she still loves you. Ask her straight forward what it is she wants, tell her the back and forth thing does not work for either of you. What did she give you as the reason for the breakup?

wow i feel you i have the exact thing going on my ex gf and i where together for 3 and a half wonderful years granted shes still in school im done now but i was a senior when we started dating. do what your heart tells you mine tells me to stay because once she realizes how big of a mistake she has made she will be yours forever and you can be her perfect husband. Right now she maybe confused but its not all that its about another guy who just swept her off her feet and its something new when the guy turns out to be a jerk she will come crawling back depending on what you believe from her will be if you can take her back or not. Me i beleive every word my ex says to me and she always says i cant be with you right now but as soon as she sees im about to move on she comes back. good luck on this one just follow what your heart tells you to do but dont wait to long.Dont listen to anyone but yourself.

Don't answer your phone, let her miss you..whatever shes going through, shes not sharing it with you.
Sounds like she doesn't want you, but shes also making sure no one else has you..
After 6 years, she may want to settle down and start a family with you..its your move ''smiles''

I think her problem is she loves you, but not enough. She is obviously having doubts, where they are legit or not. You can wait and see if she changes her mind or you can find a woman you loves so much she will never doubt it. Move on there is some one out there that will love you unconditionally.

change your number-----really. Untill sh can deal with her feelings in a mature way dont let her do this to you....while she "figures this out" she also ties you up with emotional bs. You may find that you enjoy being single (or not) but have NO contact for a while

she sounds CA-RAZY!! be thankful you got out while you still could. you are gonna meet a girl who really likes you and knows what she wants. then you will realize that this girl is trying to keep you in the wings in case she can't find someone else to leech off. sounds like she is a relationship jumper. ( you know, she jumps from relationship to relationship)
