Yes place oatmeal in your food processor and process until a fine powder you sift it to add more aeration.

Yes, I do it all the time. Instead of a blender thought I used my coffee grinder because it seems to work better with the steel cut oats I usually have on hand.

Yes you can grind in a blender. Then sift it when you are finished.
