My old dog had this he kept nibbling them and he started to lose his hair on them,we took him to the vets who said it was sarcoptic mange he was given a mite drop thing bit like frontline i cant remember the name though but we had to use that on him and bathe him in a special shampoo.Go back to your vets and mention mange they will prob give you treatment for it to see whether it cures the problem.

you are saying that you know better than the vets who did a skin scrape? If you aren't happy with the vet's diagnosis get a 2nd opinion and have a biopsy done.If there were mites on the paws, they would be elsewhere on her body too.

I have used tea tree oil very successfully over the years for cleaning the insides of the ears of both of my dogs and cat. Although it is not recommended that you drop tea tree oil directly into the ear canal, you can put a drop or two onto a cotton swab and squeeze off the excess and swab out the inside of the ears. Use this method daily for very dirty ears, for ear mites or waxy build up. The tea tree oil serves to clean and disinfect the inside and outside of the ears.

I know this excerp is for the ear, but i would try it on the paws....It's safe, so go for it!!!!

I wish I knew , mite are everywhere and the only thing I found that turns away is Mineral Oil, they hate that oil. I know it is messy' but our dogs suffer from the mites. you can bath them and they go outside, even though you sprayed and the mites will even get in their coat. This is America I'm talking about birds , squirrels have them and you can spray your yard everyday and they hide in the trees. You get them nice and clean with shampoo that is suppose to omit insects but they have become immune to this spray.

Mites are everywhere. All over your skin, your bed, you chair, your and even your hairbrush. There is no way to get rid of 'em they're just there.

I know that it might sound weird, but I heard that it works. Try rubbing some neosporin on her pads and between her toes.
